Speakers from McGill, the Universities of Rochester, Toronto, and Hong Kong will focus on President Xi’s dream of rejuvenation: Strong China: Civilized China; Harmonious China; and Beautiful China, including Guy Saint Jacques, Canada’s Ambassador to China from 2012-2016, who will speak on A Not So Delicate Balance, on November 1.

Three special events are scheduled as part of the series: a bus tour to a Chinese mall in Markham for Shanghai Dim Sum, on October 28; a concert of classical and contemporary Chinese music by the Toronto Chinese Orchestra, on November 4, and a panel discussion, Everyday life in China, on November 25.
