Marutyri is a young, Dutch fusion band from Rotterdam who stopped at the Cobourg LOFT last summer between festival gigs to serve up amazing harmonies, grooves, and solos with an international flair born at the Rotterdam Conservatory and seasoned from touring in China, Malaysia, and Germany, Trumpet, trombone, flugelhorn, tenor saxophone, keys, guitars, bass and synth, drums and percussion. Last summer they blew a packed house at The Loft away. The rousing ovation they got has brought them back for summer tour 2019. This is something completely different, yet somehow familiar.
