Alan Reid- Folk Song From Scotland

Glasgow born Alan Reid has been singing Scottish folk music all over the world since 1975. He is perhaps best known for having been a lynchpin of Scotland's Battlefield Band for many years. As well as being a talented composer, Alan is well versed in Scottish history and performs classic Scots favourites and modern selections. Alan Reid will be bringing a wealth of Scottish music to Cobourg on Friday March 27th at 7.30 PM for an entertaining evening at Cobourg's cosy, licensed coffee shop, Meet at 66 King Street East. An inductee TO the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame and nominee for the 'Composer of the Year' category at the Scots Traditional Music Awards, Alan Reid appears in solo concert, accompanying his songs on guitar, keyboard and accordion. Tickets are $20 +s'c (advance) or $25 cash at the door.
