Shakespeare: Words and Music

The Oriana Singers present Shakespeare: Words and Music. May 26, 2018, 7:30 p.m. Port Hope United Church Advance tickets (senior/adult $22/25) from choir members or Burnham’s Farm Market.

Enfold yourself in the joys and pathos brought to us through Romeo and Juliette, Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and more. These works will be enriched by melodies from Elizabethan madrigals to swing to jazz, as only the Oriana Singers can present them. Prepare yourself to be enlightened, charmed and saddened by Shakespeare’s words infused with life through song and vignette. The concert will be May 26, 2018, 7:30 pm, Port Hope United Church, 34 South St., Port Hope. Advance tickets (senior/adult $22/25) are available from choir members, Burnham Family Farm Market or the Victoria Hall Box Office (plus service charges), or $25 at the door.
