Carl Dixon remains one of Canada's stellar rock voices. He's a musician, keynote speaker and composer. Carl's 2026 solo album PEACED TOGETHER is a SIX-CD set showcasing his original work across multiple genres. Carl's career began when he joined CONEY HATCH as lead singer in the 1980's. Their debut album, produced by Kim Mitchell, went gold with two hits Devil's Deck and Hey Operator. It was one heck of a ride for the young Toronto rock band, opening for Iron Maiden and Judas Priest's North American tours. They also opened for Peter Frampton, Ted Nugent, Accept, Rush and more, featuring on MTVs glory early years. Four decades on CONEY HATCH has a special vinyl re-issue double album in celebration of their debut album's anniversary.

Carl's written music for feature films and television series including Baywatch and Degrassi. His vocals got the attention of The Guess Who and he became lead singer (after Burton Cummings departed that line up). Carl stayed in that role for eight years until his shocking car accident. Carl played in April Wine for four years and doubled up by opening for April Wine as well. In 2008 a high speed car accident in Australia almost killed Carl and left him comatose for 10 days with 52 injuries and a traumatic brain injury. He's reshaped his life as an inspirational speaker, author of "Strange Way to Live" - a book of his memoirs, and continues to tour extensively as a solo artist.
