Film Access Northumberland presents: The Art of Adventure: An Evening of Film & Conversation

Join us for The Art of Adventure: An Evening of Film & Conversation for an unforgettable celebration of art, exploration, and environmental stewardship.

Experience The Art of Adventure, an inspiring feature-length documentary chronicling the 1957 global expedition of renowned wildlife artist Robert Bateman and biologist Bristol Foster aboard their Land Rover, The Grizzly Torque. Their extraordinary journey became the foundation for a lifetime of conservation advocacy, demonstrating how art and science together can inspire a deeper appreciation of the natural world.

Following the screening, join director Alison Reid (The Women Who Loves Giraffes) for an engaging conversation moderated by acclaimed CBC radio documentarian, lawyer, and author Karin Wells, whose insightful interviews and celebrated books have brought many remarkable Canadian stories to light.

This event is brought to you by MNP. Proceeds from the evening support Film Access Northumberland's First Takes youth filmmaking program, helping provide free skills-based education, mentorship, and creative opportunities for local high school students.
