Les AMIS is delighted to have B.E.S.Trio - Beverley Johnston, Percussion; Erika Crinó, Piano; Susan Hoeppner, Flute - back for another exciting performance. The Trio’s inaugural concert took place on April 16, 2023, at which Les AMIS’ audience showered the performers with a well-deserved standing ovation. The program will include a variety of musical gems beginning with a Trio Sonata by G.F. Handel, Jacques Ibert’s Deux Interludes and new works especially written for them by Canadian composers Christos Hatzis and Michael Pepa. A novelty piece by Frederic Rzewski, for flowerpots and voice, performed by Beverley (recipient of Order of Canada) will most certainly bring the audience to its feet.
