Les AMIS is delighted to present Mercer Park Duo, Cellist Rachel Mercer (Principal cellist of the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa), and Pianist Angela Park (Assistant Professor of piano at Western University). These exceptional artists have been members of the family of Les AMIS since the beginning of their careers. The program will include: Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847), Cello Sonata in D Majo, Op. 58 Veronica Ciobanu (b.1993), Resolution Ernest Bloch (1880-1959), Prayer Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953), Cello Sonata in C Major, Op. 119 The concert will take place on Sunday, November 2, at Trinity United Church at 3 pm.
