The Town of Cobourg’s Community Services Division in partnership with the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation are pleased to announce that Grace, 2, a Tragically Hip tribute band, will be performing live at the Cobourg Community Centre (CCC) on Saturday, September 28th, 2019. Everyone is invited to join the free pre-party beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall at the CCC, hosted by The Sydney Fairman Group, where The Spirits front man Shaun Savoy will be performing live. As true Hip fans, Grace, 2 is dedicated to recreating the sound and energy of a live Hip performance. “As Canadians, we all share a connection with this iconic band and it’s charismatic frontman, the late great Gord Downie,” says Paul Mooney, bass guitarist for Grace 2. “As a band, we set ourselves above the rest by staying true to the sound and feel of the Hip and presenting fans with a respectful dedication to this beloved band.” Grace 2 will be doing a special performance of the Tragically Hip's final concert, part of their Man Machine Poen Tour. This two and a half hour performance will include some of The Hip's greatest hits from their 13 studio albums, two live albums, one EP and 54 singles released over an impressive 33 year career.
