Two days before St. Patrick's Day we'll be celebrating the Irish in words, music and song. We'll transport you back to earlier times when wave after wave of Irish immigrants poured into eastern Ontario to become labourers, tradesmen and hardscrabble farmers on the rough land that became our home. We'll bring you an enchanting afternoon of entertainment with the cream of the crop - internationally renowned artists who have toured the world over bringing the delights of Irish culture to over 30 countries in their long and storied careers. If you’ve never been to Ireland, you’ll surely want to go. If you have been, you’ll want to return. All this will happen on your doorstep at the beautiful Concert Hall at Victoria Hall in Cobourg! Performing will be multi-instrumentalists Saskia Tomkins, Steafan Hannigan & Oisin Hannigan; vocalist Marsala Lukianchuk and master story-teller Brian Hetherington. Advance tickets $30 + sc.
