On Sunday, October 30th at 3 PM, TRINITY UNITED CHURCH (284 Division St., Cobourg) will host a piano trio featuring internationally acclaimed artists. “I am pleased to welcome violinist Laurence Kayaleh, cellist Elizabeth Dolin, and pianist Meagan Milatz, all virtuoso performers, playing some of the world’s most loved classical pieces,” said Ken Prue and he added, “On October 31, 2021, the trio played at the LOFT to a full house and a standing ovation.”

This time, the trio will play a program of chamber music by Czech composers.

A reviewer for a concert in Japan’s Ongakunotomo Magazine states, “Violinist Laurence Kayaleh‫’s performance conveys a vast and noble essence, much like a tree stretching and spreading its roots deep into the Earth. She carries herself with the presence and dignity of the great Masters.”

Cellist Elizabeth Dolin is a distinguished member of the Canadian symphonic and chamber music community. As associate principal cellist of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra for three seasons, she established a reputation as one of Canada’s finest practitioners of the art. The Manitoba Chamber Orchestra and the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra are but two of the many orchestras that have engaged Dolin as principal cellist.

Pianist Meagan Milatz has appeared as soloist with several Canadian orchestras including the Regina Symphony Orchestra, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the McGill Symphony Orchestra, and l'Orchestre symphonique de Sherbrooke. Meagan has been the top prize-winner at the Shean Piano Competition, the CFMTA National Piano Competition, the McGill Classical Concerto Competition, the Canadian Music Competition, and has been named by CBC as one of Canada’s 30 hot classical musicians under 30 in 2019.

“It will be, I am sure, a concert to be remembered. Music lovers worldwide have enjoyed their musical magic and now it’s our turn. I thank them in advance for making this trip specifically for us,” added Michael Pepa.
