Northumberland New Ventures Band Presents Join Northumberland New Ventures Band and Celebrate the Season at Trinity United Church. Come and enjoy a variety of holiday classics and other seasonal music played by our four bands and our Brass Quintet. Northumberland New Ventures Band is a Community Band based in Cobourg. Its three levels (intro, intermediate and advanced) provide opportunities for individuals who want to learn to play an instrument and progress. We are unique in that we accept as members anyone who has an interest in learning an instrument, even beginners who have never played. One of our members began learning saxophone at 76 years of age!
