Les AMIS Concert: Violist Sharon Wei and Pianist Angela Park

Violist Sharon Wei and Pianist Angela Park are on the Faculty of Western University in London, Ontario. Sharon is currently Associate Professor of Viola, where she has also held the role of Assistant Dean of Research. Angela is currently Assistant Professor of Piano and Collaborative Piano.

This Les AMIS concert takes place at Trinity United Church, Cobourg, on Sunday, April 19th at 3:00 pm.

Sharon and Angela co-founded Ensemble Made in Canada in 2006, and their Mosaïque Project—which won the 2021 JUNO Award for Classical Album of the Year —toured across Canada in both traditional venues and unique settings, such as the seabed of Hopewell Rocks at low tide. Sharon is the violist of the award-winning New Orford String Quartet while Angela regularly collaborates with such artists as cellist Rachel Mercer and violinist Mayumi Seiler (Seiler Trio), clarinetist James Campbell, soprano Leslie Fagan, and many others.
