Since it first hatched in 1993, Stiles & Drewe's musical, Honk!, has winged its way around the world in over 8,000 productions and in many different languages. Winner of multiple awards, including the 2000 Olivier Award for Best Musical, this heartwarming celebration of being different is sure to delight audiences of all ages with its sparkling wit and memorable score.

ABOUT LA JEUNESSE CHOIRS La Jeunesse Choir is a dedicated and respected charitable organization, run by a Board of Directors, whose mission is to support, share and celebrate the diverse musical talents of Northumberland’s youth.

Since its inception in 1988, La Jeunesse Choir has provided its members with the highest possible calibre of musical experience and training. Many of our alumni have gone to enjoy successful musical careers, including the renowned folk music trio, The Good Lovelies.

From an initial membership of 20 girls, the choir has expanded to include two choirs and a Musical Theatre Intensive group, with both boys and girls ranging in age from seven to 18. The choirs draw membership from across Northumberland County and beyond.

Our choirs are directed by Markus Howard and Debbie Fingas. They challenge young people, through their music-making, to develop their potential as individuals and as choir members. The choirs provide youth with the opportunity for meaningful musical experience that enriches the cultural life of Northumberland County.
